Summary:
In the village of Kanna, rice has been a factor for their prosperity. However, each year bandits come to the village and steal the rice during the harvest season, leaving only a few rice for the laborers of Kanna to sell. Rice wasn’t only just the bandit’s demand. They also put women and children into the addition. Fearing the future conditions of Kanna, the elders of the village decided to hire samurai. With no funds, 3 villagers had gone to the city to seek for Samurai. After encounters with the government, the trio brings back 7 samurai and prepare for the coming of the bandits. The samurais then taught the villagers how to defend themselves and soon the bandits were defeated. Though the bandits are defeated, the 7 hired samurais had to struggle against a bigger evil, far worse than bandits.
